About Miss Aubrey
Miss Aubrey brings world-class ballet education to Rockford—something most dancers never experience. With years of global stage experience, she now devotes her expertise to guiding young dancers with the same passion and precision.
Authentic Training, Not Performance Hype
This isn’t for families chasing instant results, sparkly costumes, or rows of trophies. This is for those who value quality, artistry, and long-term growth.
Efficient, Balanced, and Injury-Smart
Dancers don’t live at the studio here. In just 4–6 hours a week, students receive training that would normally take 10–20 hours at other schools—without the burnout or injury.
Because overtraining leads to injury, students in this program don’t participate in dance teams, cheer, poms, or outside sports.
Serious Training, Serious Fun
Unlike many programs, Miss Aubrey’s classes are welcoming, low-pressure, and built around positive, medically sound methods.
Not Training for a Career? That’s Perfect.
Miss Aubrey doesn’t push professional dance as a goal. She believes every child deserves elite-level training for its own benefits—strength, confidence, and joy.
Classes are by invitation only, after a private evaluation. No prior dance experience is required for this program.
Level 1 Ages 10+
Students are introduced to more advanced training, and begin learning professional ballet choreography from classical ballets such as Swan Lake and the Nutcracker. Pre-Pointe/Pointe is introduced in the last year of this level.
Level 2
Students are rewarded with what they've worked so hard for- pointe shoes! But no nasty toes in sight. Damaged toes or bruised toenails is a sign of a problem. Students will begin learning corps de ballet work en pointe. Some movements in pointe shoes have little artistic merit and have a high risk of injury. For this reason such steps are omitted from training.
Level 3
Students are completing their dance training. This includes learning solo variations.
$350/month
**Academy level classes have a greater time and financial commitment. Classes meet three times a week, the addition of pointe shoes at approximately $100 and professional tutus which are made to last them until they complete training cost approximately $100.
What Parents Are Saying
“The first thing I noticed is that the children genuinely like each other. There is no jealousy or competitive spirit between them. Because a competitive atmosphere is not encouraged here. The students at other schools will smile for the camera, but they are not friends. This really is a no pressure no comparison no competition environment.”
-Mary S., Parent of a former Chicago dancer
“We’ve tried other dance schools, but nothing compares to the way Aubrey connects with kids. She’s a brilliant young woman, but the girls all believe she is the same as their friends. She’s just another friend in the room. I’ve already seen it-when there’s trouble on the horizon, your daughter won’t listen to you or even go to you first, she’ll go to her friends. What a gift for parents that Aubrey is included in that friend circle! And her advice and opinion is respected and listened to. Unlike Mom’s. 🙄
-Melissa G., mom of a 16 year-old
“I can’t put into words how grateful we are. My child came from another studio where she felt lost in the crowd. Here, she’s not just improving technically—she’s genuinely happier. Aubrey has a gift for making kids feel powerful and capable and loved.”
— Ava P., parent of a 12 year-old with prior training
“We saw more growth in three weeks than we did in three years at our old studio. My daughter was ignored there. It’s not just the technique—it’s the connection. She feels like she matters here, and for a parent, that’s priceless.”
— David L., dad of an 11-year-old dancer
